Where there is money Process Serving and how not to get it!

Regrettably, some process servers will lie (under oath) and swear they personally served a person in a civil court case when they didn’t and this week’s process server (and private investigator) training video show exactly what will eventually happen to the “officer of the court” – not to mention how it is a career killer!

Don’t try to cheat on personal service of process! Your client (the law firm) completely understands that sometime it’s not going to happen. But, if you gave it your best attempts, your client will understand.

Your best attempt should probably look something like: A minimum of three attempts on three different days and at different times of day.

Note Well:
Don’t miss that a lot of P.I. work comes straight out of picking up a law firm clients by serving civil process! That means I got my foot in the door with process serving and picked up investigative work because of that and you can too!

So one lesson to take away this week is if you need more cases (and the profits that come from them!) consider offering process serving to law firms because when they know, like and trust you, they’ll hire you when they have investigative work!
And, as always, do the right thing, even if it’s the hard thing.

Committed to your success,
Larry Kaye,
