Hi Larry,
Thanks for all the cool advice. This stuff is kinda blowing my mind. I had no idea a week ago that there were so many records available to the public. I hope I’m able to get into this type of work. I’m starting at basically scratch. Took a few CJ classes back when I was in college, and currently work as a “property manager” for a local flea market and mini storage place. It’s small potatoes but as a result I wear many hats. I’d love to work for myself, but realistically I imagine that might take a while. I think I must have three years experience before I can get my P. I. license. I’m also amazed at how the questions I have about this investigative stuff seem to be multiplying almost exponentially. Is that normal? Thanks again.
-Keith
Hi, Keith.
Yes, the more you dig into investigative resources and techniques, the more you realize there is to learn!
I think the general public would be genuinely shocked to learn how much a P.I. can actually do!
Thanks,
-Larry-
Hi Larry,
Thanks for all the valuable information thus far, I was a e.m.t. for 10yrs and a corrections officer for 2. And looking forward to working for myself as a PI. Enjoying learning more and more techniques thanks again look forward to taking more of your courses in the future.
Thanks, Donald! I just got back from mailing out your course. You’ll have it soon via Priority Mail!
Hi Larry, my name is Lour.
I just ordered your Process Server DVDs set. I am so excited Larry. i do have 1 question Larry, does this also includes Private Investigation DVDS as well ? Thank you Larry !
Hey, Lour.
It’s a 2 DVD set of process server training. These is a section that is pretty much a mini-skip tracing course on the DVDs.
(I’ve actually thought about selling just that section/lesson as a separate course!)
I hope that answers your question.
Also, you did order while I have process server badges, so I included one for free with your course.
Have a great New Year!

Hi Larry my name is Darryl Henderson, I have been watching your training videos for over two years now, I recently finished my PI training course and passed with really good scores, I am getting closer to getting a real job in process server, I’m Excited , but at the same time scared. Do you know of a good DVD I cam purchase with step by step routine as a process server I can watch over and over to really absorb the knowledge, and be more comfortable, I just don’t want to mess up, I want to do the best job possible. Thanks again Larry and I really appreciate your videos your very professional. Darryl Henderson Bolivar Missouri
Darryl,
Thank you for your viewership!
I don’t have an online video that does specifically that, but you have inspired me! I’ll make a video like that soon.
Here’s the process in it’s simplest form:
1. Pick up the papers to be served.
2. Keep the Return of Service page (or two) for yourself.
3. Serve the packet.
4. Fill out and file the Return of Service.
5. Notify your client the packet is served (if they want notification).
That’s it!
My course The Investigator’s Ultimate Guide to Process Serving covers all of that and the solutions to the many snags that may come up, but usually it’s just that simple!
Hope that helps!

P.S. – I wrote a letter with some other details about the course as well.
