How to trace a license plate using parking violations.

How to run a license plate using parking tickets.

Here’s a clever way to look up license plate information and it doesn’t require a “permissible purpose” like most other methods.

Step 1

Find the website in your area where you can “pay your ticket online”.

Step 2

Enter the license plate number into the website.

Step 3

See if any information comes back for the license plate.

Step 4

Look at the information the website provides, but (and here’s the real key to this!)…

Step 5

Make a public records request for any and all information related to that parking citation.

Things you may learn are where the parking citation was issued, the date and time of issue, the vehicle make, model and year. You may also learn the owner’s name and address and of course that’s the jackpot.

I’m teaching this method presuming it’s legal where you are. Of course you need to make sure all of your actions are 100% legal. I’m not an attorney so I’m just sharing something that’s worked for me. Be sure you know the law in your area.

  1. Helllo! I have watched some of your videos and I want to ask you whether or not you can make a video about a way to counter hidden microphones and cameras. Ways to detect, devices to work with.. anything that can protect you.

  2. I know it’s not that easy to counter these little spy gadgets and I also believe that it’s quite a delicate to talk about it. Do your best and let us know the best advices on how to counter those little bugs with the help of other devices or with our bare hands 😀

    • Thanks for the comment, Derek. I’ll try to put together a video on that. In the mean time, my best advice to to become familiar with the gear that’s commercially available and do a thorough physical search for the devices. They can actually be relatively easy to find when you know what you’re looking for.
