When on surveillance and you first see the subject your investigating as a private investigator, make sure to get a good image of his or her face. After that, zoom out to show the scene and what they are doing.

This is important because it helps prove you were watching the right person if you ever have to go to court for things like workers’ compensation fraud, divorce, or child custody cases.
