3 ways to make more money as a private investigator.

This week I share three ways to make more money as a private investigator and even a bonus thing I wasn’t planning on sharing!

I have to admit, I don’t know why my clients have a problem they know I can solve and they’re talking about me, but they still don’t call me! And you’re clients are the same way with you!

I have no idea why that is, but I’ve found the cure for it…

Reach out to your clients regularly with information that’s interesting or valuable to them. I like to use snail mail for this. I’ll send them a news article or an article I’ve had published and when I send out these mailings, I get a call from a client who hires me for more work!

Okay, that’s what I didn’t plane on sharing with you, but it’s made me so much money over the years that I think it’s worth you looking at how it would fit into your business model.

So, on to the main event…

The things that will make you more money as a private investigator…

1. Add skip tracing services.

I actually can’t imagine any P.I. not doing some kind of skip tracing already in their work, but you should consider offering that as a stand alone service as well.

2. Add surveillance services to what you do.

Many private detectives actually don’t offer surveillance as one of their serves to their clients! If you start taking domestic cases, workers’ compensation cases or other cases that require surveillance, you’ll pick up more work that if you don’t… obviously!

3. Add process serving as a service to gain steady, repeat business from law firms.

This is one thing that will make you more, repeat money over and over again from clients who you don’t need to ‘educate’ everything they hire you. Law firms know what they want and what they expect from you. All you have to do is serve process and collect your check!

Let me know if you have a question you’d like me to answer in one of my weekly videos.

Committed to you success,
Larry Kaye, P.I.
