This week I discuss how to succeed in the private investigator business world.
Be sure to read all the way down to the warning I have for you later in this article!
1. Find a private investigator who is doing well in the business.
This means starting with the end in mind!
Once you know what a successful agency looks like, then you know the direction to head.
2. Model what that successful P.I. or detective agency is doing.
This should make sense to you. At it’s most basic level it’s like this…
If you want to be thin, find a thin person and do what they are doing! Eat like they eat. Exercise like they exercise.
[For my more spiritually minded readers: If you want to be Holy, find someone who’s Holy and do what they do! Pray like they pray. Serve like they serve.]
So in the detective business, if you see a successful P.I. tweeting daily, then you may want to tweet daily. If the successful P.I. has a podcast, you may want to have a podcast. Etc.!
3. WARNING: There may be more going on “behind the scenes” than you can see!
You may not know what the “hidden secret” to their success is!
In this weeks video I give two examples of this (one bad and one good). But here’s the point… make sure you don’t miss the “back-end” reason they are getting clients or making money.
Please allow me to offer one more bonus HUGE TIP: There is no shame in keeping your day job while you get your private investigator business up and running!
