Did you know in some major US cities up to 80% of gun shots are not reported to the police?!?!?

Almost 75 percent of shots detected by the acoustic sensors spread around the Bronx and Brooklyn don’t have corresponding 911 calls, an NYPD spokesman said in 2015.

So why not?

Probably the weirdest thing I carry in my surveillance bag is a valve stem puller to flatten tires on cars I’m tasked to repossess.

I use this when the driver (the skip) may return to the car before the tow truck gets there. That way the skip can’t drive off with the car since it’s got one totally flat tire.

I had a guy try to do this on one repo. But that’s a story for another day!
